I'm a Central Illinois makeup artist specializing in natural and soft glam makeup for brides who want to feel beautifully polished without feeling like they're wearing a mask.
My love for wedding makeup began when I did my first wedding in highschool, but my passion for makeup began way before that. As a toddler I loved stealing my mom's lipstick, and as I got older, I would do makeup on anyone who would let me. What started as simply a hobby began a career I'm so thankful for!
And while I'm passionate about the artistry side of things (especially eyeshadow!), I believe the experience in my chair matters just as much as the final look. I want you to feel loved, treasured, heard, and seen. Your wedding morning should feel calm, cared for, and full of joyful anticipation. Not rushed or overwhelming.
I have a husband and daughter that I am head over heels for, and I dabble in tons of hobbies and interests. I'm a list maker by nature, but also very laid back. I joke that I'm a recovering perfectionist. Many people tell me that just having me around makes them feel more calm.
A few things I love outside of the makeup chair:
Give me a cozy fall day, a coffee or tea, and something involving Pride and Prejudice, fantasy, sci-fi, history, or vintage anything, and I’m happy. I have a particular weakness for pumpkin spice lattes, cats, otters, and cows—and I will never turn down an opportunity to talk about my favorite products. Above all, I love Jesus and that influences everything I do!

Booking your makeup should be the easiest “yes” of wedding planning. Here’s how I keep it simple:
You don't need perfectly clear skin to feel beautiful on your wedding day. I carefully review the products in my kit for common pore-clogging ingredients and potential triggers for sensitive skin. I've worked with many brides with rosacea, sensitivity, and acne-prone skin, and I take your individual concerns seriously.
If you're worried about how your skin or eyes may react, we can arrange a patch test before your wedding day so you can feel comfortable and confident in your makeup.
What if I have rosacea, sensitive skin, or acne-prone skin?
Absolutely! Your bridal makeup is designed to hold up through happy tears, dancing, hugs, and a full day of celebrating. I use long-wearing, water-resistant products and carefully set your makeup so you can spend less time worrying about your makeup and more time enjoying your day.
At your preview, we'll also go over simple ways to keep your makeup looking fresh, including how to handle those inevitable happy tears without smudging. If you'd like extra peace of mind, I’m also happy to stay for additional touch-ups for an added fee.

That's okay—you don't need a large bridal party to work with me. I'm happy to travel to you even if you're booking makeup just for yourself, with an $800 service minimum. Because I specialize exclusively in bridal beauty, I reserve the majority of my wedding day for one bride and her experience, sometimes booking as far as 18 months in advance. This allows me to give your wedding the time, attention, and care it deserves. The service minimum simply ensures that reserving an entire wedding day for you is sustainable, even when you're having a smaller celebration.
